VAN ALSTYNE, Texas (KXII) - Crews have broken ground on Lone Tree, a two-phase housing development bringing more than 360 homes to the west side of Van Alstyne.

Park included in phase oneThe development includes a 10-acre park during phase one, according to Mike Shaw, spokesperson for the city of Van Alstyne.

The park, called Lone Tree Park, will be located near the neighborhood.
