The Texas Botanical Gardens & Native American Interpretive Center, Inc. (TBGNAIC) invites the public to discover the science and conservation benefits behind composting toilet systems during From Waste to Resource: Composting Toilets for Sustainable Living with Dr. Glendon Rhoades The program will be held September 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Goldthwaite Pavilion, 1219 Fisher Street, Goldthwaite, Texas.

Composting toilets may sound unconventional, but the science behind them offers a practical response to familiar conservation challenges.

Unlike conventional sanitation systems that use water to transport waste, composting systems rely on natural biological processes to manage organic material while significantly reducing water use.
