TEXARKANA, Texas (KSLA) - The Texarkana Texas Police Department says they are investigating a homicide that happened Monday night, Oct. 26, around 10 p.m. on Blanton Street.

Officers were called there for a shots-fired report and found a 19-year-old man, Farn-Pavion Smith, lying in the front yard of a home.

He had been shot and died at the scene, police say.
