WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A five-time convicted felon who got a 12-year-old girl pregnant in 2023 was sentenced to 15 years in prison Monday.

Zachary Luis Suarez, 34, pleaded guilty Monday to aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony punishable by up to life in prison.

Judge Thomas West of Waco's 19th State District Court accepted the plea agreement offered by the McLennan County District Attorney's Office and sentenced Suarez to 15 years in prison.
