POLK COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A man was arrested Wednesday after law enforcement raided an indoor marijuana grow operation in Polk County, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office said a search warrant was executed at a residence off FM 943, where investigators discovered a "sophisticated indoor marijuana grow operation on the property."The PCSO said investigators recovered more than 50 pounds but less than 2,000 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of about $100,000.

The PCSO said Alexander Vega, 43, a resident at the home, admitted to growing the marijuana.
