LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - So far this summer, Longview has been operating with one public pool.

The Stamper Park Family Aquatic Center is days from the big grand opening.

Longview City Spokesman Richard Yeakley says the city put some thought into the design of the brand-new Stamper Park Family Aquatic Center."There's a great area for small kids to play with, a big splash feature that's a zero-entry area. That means you can just walk right in. There are no stairs," Yeakley said.
