COMAL COUNTY, Texas - A 17-year-old boy was killed after a crash Thursday morning in Comal County, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson.

DPS deputies responded around 9 a.m. to State Highway 46 near Stoney Creek Drive, located east of Bulverde, for a report of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and two pickup trucks.

When deputies arrived, DPS said they learned the teenager was traveling on red Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle westbound on State Highway 46 when he "failed to control his speed" and crashed into a Ford pickup truck and Chevrolet Silverado.
