A man was shot by police after harassing customers at a restaurant in west Houston and pointing his gun at responding officers.

Police say a man, who had a gun and was harassing customers at a restaurant in west Houston, was shot by responding officers after he allegedly pointed the gun at them.
The officer-involved shooting happened in the 14300 block of Westheimer Road, near Highway 6.
HPD says the suspect was transported to a hospital.
