First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro hosted approximately 150 WISD employees at a spaghetti luncheon where they received book bags, school supplies, and desserts in support of educators preparing for the school year.

On Tuesday, Aug. 11, around 150 WISD employees enjoyed a spaghetti luncheon at the First United Methodist Church Wesley Hall in Whitesboro.
There, they were given book bags and school supplies along with lunch and homemade desserts.
"We are so glad we can show our support to our educators as they get ready to do the hard work of educating our children," said Kristin Burris who, along with others, led this effort.
