HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman hired to care for a disabled veteran is accused of making purchases using credit card information she allegedly obtained while working inside the family's Cypress home, according to court documents.
According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office, Becky Butler-Amya was hired as an in-home caregiver to assist an 83-year-old disabled veteran and his family.
"It was somebody that was in their home, someone who had access to the family, someone who was a helping hand to the family, so someone who the family entrusted," Precinct 4 Capt. Aaron Strain said.
