BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Crews are working to finish 279 new apartments down the road from Texas A&M University's RELLIS campus, but developers and local leaders say the project signals something bigger than new housing: a booming local economy.

The James, developed by Houston-based McGrath Real Estate Partners, is a 47-acre project located in the BioCorridor: The stretch of land between the RELLIS campus and Easterwood Airport along John Sharp Parkway that's become a hub for research, healthcare and technology companies.
