The Fredericksburg High School Battlin' Billies football team recovered from last week's loss against Canyon Lake with a 27-21 home victory over the Taylor Ducks Friday night at FHS Stadium.

The weather was damp and cool with periods of fog and drizzle during the game, but the Billies (7-2, 5-1 district) were not bothered by any of that.

Junior quarterback Kress Mohr continued to work his magic on the playing field, orchestrating three scoring drives in the first half alone.
