Gusty winds are expected in counties northeast of Houston as Tropical Storm Edouard moves inland Tuesday afternoon and into the overnight hours.

A wind advisory has been issued for northern Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, and Houston counties until 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Right now, sustained winds are expected to be between 20-25 mph with gusts of up to 40 mph possible.
