The Kerrville Fire Department will host its first "Firefighters & Neighbors: Working Together" workshop Monday, Oct. 19 from 6-7 p.m. at the Kerrville Public Safety Facility, 365 Clearwater Paseo.

The free, family-friendly program brings Kerrville firefighters and residents together to learn practical skills that can help keep families and neighborhoods safe.

The Oct. 19 workshop, "Stop the Bleed & Basic First Aid," will focus on actions residents can take during the critical moments before emergency help arrives.
