A Chapel Hill elementary teacher and a Whitehouse High School teacher have been named Region 7 Education Service Center's Teachers of the Year.

Whitehouse, Chapel Hill ISD teachers named Region 7 Teachers of the Year(Region 7 ESC)Emily Greer, a Jackson Elementary School teacher with Chapel Hill ISD and Sharon Garner, a Whitehouse High School teacher, were both selected, according to a Region 7 ESC release.

They will advance to the Texas Teacher of the year program, competing against 38 other educators from across the state.
