The Boerne Champion volleyball team was entered in its final regular- season tournament of the year and had another strong finish.

In their two other tournaments this year, the Lady Chargers placed second in Abilene and won the Pieper tourney before taking second in last weekend's Seguin Tournament.

Champion played nine matches and won its first eight before falling in the championship match to go 8-1 at the event and stands at 20-4 overall.
