Heavy rainfall last night has caused several Comal County road closures and restricted access to the Comal river.

A flash flood warning was issued at approximately 4:14 a.m. and again around 9 a.m., and the National Weather Service is predicting possible additional storms.

Comal County currently has five roads closed: Smithson Valley Road at Keswick, Bulverde Lane at the 29900 Block, Old Bastrop Road at York Creek, East Ammann Road and Blanco Road and Weiss Road at Watson Lane East.
