Five Points intersection project moves forward with $4M federal funding opportunity

MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - Midland County leaders say that the infamous Five Points intersection safety fix is one step closer.

According to the press release, Midland County Commissioners approved action tied to a $4 million federal funding opportunity for the Five Points Highway Safety and Efficiency Improvements Project.

Where is "Five Points"?The project targets the busy intersection where State Highway 158, East County Road 120, and South County Road 1150 come together - about 4. 5 miles southeast of downtown Midland.
