LAREDO, Tex.

(KGNS) - The Laredo Police Department made 61 DWI arrests during a two-week impaired driving enforcement campaign that ran from June 19 through July 6, according to the department.

The effort was funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and placed officers on overtime specifically targeting DWI enforcement across the city.
