LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) - The Angelina County Courthouse is set for upgrades after a bid for the project was approved with no objections.
County Judge Keith Wright said the courthouse has needed improvements for some time.
"The county clerk had approached us about some issues in their operation at the courthouse. If you understand, the courthouse was built in the '50s. When you go into it, it looks like you're going back into time," Wright said.
