The Black Cowboy Museum has canceled its 2026 Juneteenth Trail Ride, Parade and outdoor activities planned at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds due to forecasted weather conditions.

In a statement, museum founder and CEO Larry Callies said the decision was made "out of an abundance of caution." "The safety of our riders, horses, volunteers, and community remains our highest priority," Callies said.

While the outdoor festivities have been canceled, the museum said the Juneteenth celebration will continue indoors.
