ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - National Petroleum Day and the Cargile Charitable Foundation presented a check for $130,000 to the Midland Fire Department on Friday, Oct. 30, at Central Fire Station.

The presentation was rescheduled from Oct. 15 because severe weather and flooding kept Midland firefighters serving the community.

The money was raised at the live auction during the NPD Gala at the Petroleum Club of Midland on Aug. 27.
