DENISON, Texas (KXII) - Denison's Main Street makeover is nearly complete.

The finishing touch of Designing Downtown Denison, or D3, is a remodeling of Heritage Park.

Main Street Director Donna Dow said the city council approved a new usage policy in the last month, restricting private event rentals and making way for more events hosted by Denison and its partner-organizations."So we'll do all the events there, and we have some that we work with our partners on like Downtown Denison Inc, and the chamber of commerce, and the arts council," Dow said.
