The Atascosa County Sheriff's Office is partnering with South Texas Blood & Tissue to host a community blood drive on July 8, offering donors entertainment incentives to help combat critical summer blood shortages.

The "Movie Night Blood Drive" will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the sheriff's office, located at 1108 Campbell Ave. in Jourdanton.

Donations will be collected inside the South Texas Blood & Tissue bloodmobile parked at the facility.
