A man was rescued from a vehicle that became stranded in high water in Brazoria County as heavy rain and flooding concerns continued across parts of Southeast Texas.

KPRC 2's Cathy Hernandez was in Freeport, near West Second and Walnut streets, where rising water created dangerous conditions for drivers Wednesday morning.

The driver told KPRC 2 he became trapped after attempting to travel through flooded roadways.
