HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A man accused of stabbing his partner to death allegedly called his brother following the fatal incident in northeast Houston, according to a release by the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said that Jamie Castillo was arrested on Monday, Oct. 5, after 23-year-old Jose Orozco was found stabbed in the 4400 block of Sandydale Lane.

According to HCSO, deputies responded to the home regarding a welfare check and discovered Orozco dead from several stab wounds.
