WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Waco man who shot and killed his close friend during an argument in Hewitt last year was sentenced to 33 years in prison Thursday.

Keimori Taylor pleaded guilty to murder in the April 3, 2025, shooting death of 27-year-old Kyle Mitchell, and 19th State District Judge Thomas West sentenced him to prison in accordance with Taylor's plea agreement with the McLennan County District Attorney's Office.
