Due to the plethora of rainfall received across Texas this week, Lake Brownwood is now well above 90 percent of its capacity and continues to rise.

As of 3:30 p.m. Friday, the water level at Lake Brownwood was 1,423. 41 feet, just 1. 49 feet below the spillway, and 92. 2 percent of its capacity.

On Tuesday, the lake was 3. 6 feet below the spillway, resulting in an increase of more than two feet in four days.
