WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A gym full of cheering seniors, a lopsided score, and nearly $40,000 raised for a good cause - that was the scene Saturday at McLennan Community College's Highlander gym.

The Waco 6-Shooters, a local Granny Basketball team, hosted their annual fundraiser game against the Famous Friends - a team made up of supporters of Friends for Life, a Waco-based nonprofit that provides services and support to seniors and people with disabilities.

The 6-Shooters won by 50 points.
