MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - One person was killed and another seriously injured in a crash in Midland County early Thursday morning.

According to DPS, the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. June 4 at the intersection of South County Road 1110 and East County Road 173. Investigators said a GMC Canyon was driving east on County Road 173 when it entered the intersection and crashed with a southbound Ford with a trailer.

DPS said while investigating they found the driver of the GMC Canyon failed to stop at a stop sign before entering the intersection.
