Wed, 07/15/2026 - 21:04 Body Volume I: Chapter I, "The Paleo Prehistory of Pecos County" Part 2 continued The paleo bone inventory of the bison species that watered at San Pedro Springs is subordinate to the horse, mammoth, and camel.
It is the author's opinion that the Pecos River of 10,000 years B.P. was a formidable barrier and checked a massive seasonal migration as far south as the Rio Grande River.
