HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Projected to beat Republican Orlando Sanchez, Democrat Letitia Plummer is set to be the next Harris County judge.

Sanchez conceded to Plummer, who thanked her supporters on Tuesday for her historic win.

"Today we showed what belief in our community can do," Plummer said.
