Cody Johnson, a former Groveton resident, has been nominated for four CMA Awards including the top honor of Entertainer of the Year.

GROVETON, Texas (KTRE) - Cody Johnson is nominated for Entertainer of the Year at this year's CMA Awards.

The nominations were announced Wednesday morning.

Johnson is up for four CMA Awards this year: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist, Single of the Year for "The Fall," and Video of the Year for "The Fall." Entertainer of the Year is the show's top honor.
