NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Thousands poured onto the brick streets of downtown Nacogdoches Saturday as the Texas Blueberry Festival returned with crowds, vendors and and plenty of berry-themed bites.
Booths throughout the festival offered seasonal treats celebrating the city's signature crop, from blueberry pancakes to blueberry lemonade to even blueberry grilled cheese.
Organizers said the festival has grown over the years due to increasing attendance, and vendors said they continue experimenting with new recipes to draw visitors of all ages.
