TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) - Temple police say they are investigating a family assault with weapons after officers deployed a beanbag round against a juvenile who advanced on them with a kitchen knife Friday evening.

At approximately 5:15 p.m. on Friday, July 10, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of S 19th Street for a family disturbance with weapons call.

When they arrived, officers located a juvenile causing a disturbance and holding a kitchen knife.
