The City of Big Spring is reminding residents about its free Large/Bulk Item Pickup program, designed to help clean up neighborhoods and make it easier to dispose of oversized household items.

According to information released by the city, the program allows residents to get rid of items such as furniture, mattresses, appliances, and other bulky materials without the cost or hassle of hauling them off themselves.

The next scheduled pickup is set for District 1 on July 15, 2026.
