COMFORT - Check-ins conducted by the Kendall County health inspector found most Comfort restaurants operating at a high level of compliance this week, though some were directed to take corrective action for a few violations.

Inspection scores ranged from 81 to 100, with inspectors noting concerns involving food labeling, sanitation practices, equipment maintenance and proper food storage.

Comfort Pizza, 802 High St. Hours: 11:30 a.m to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday The restaurant is known for its woodfired sourdough-style pizzas, including specialty pies and fresh salads, and is a popular destination for both residents and visitors exploring the Hill Country.
