The Heart of the Hills Heritage Center invited the community to its first Front Porch Friday event series for an evening of live music, local history and meeting neighbors.

Every first Friday of the month, Heart of the Hills Heritage Center plans to open its doors for locals to explore the curated exhibits for free and participate in a number of themed activities, foods and art.

"This is the first Front Porch Friday," said Heart of the Hills Heritage Center Executive Director Angela Kennedy.
