The shooting occurred shortly after 3 a.m. at a home in the 1200 block of Baxley Lane, with responding officers locating two juvenile teenagers with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, a Longview police spokesperson wrote in a press release.

Police believe the teenagers were committing a theft when confronted and shot by the resident, the spokesperson wrote.
