LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Attorney General Ken Paxton made a campaign stop in Longview on Tuesday as part of his "Protecting the Texas Promise" tour with less than 50 days left until the November election.

Paxton, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Texas, touted his record as the state's top lawyer as well as his plans to lower costs.

"This race is about defending Texas and our country, but it's also about safeguarding our faith and our way of life," Paxton said.
