LAREDO, Tex.

(KGNS) - A suspicious vehicle call led Laredo police to what investigators say was an attempted human smuggling operation, resulting in the arrest of five people ranging in age from 17 to 21.

The incident happened just before 1 a.m. on Friday, July 3, at an apartment complex near Aurora St. and Haynes Ave., police said.
