Laredo police arrest 5 in alleged human smuggling operation
Laredo police arrested five people aged 17 to 21 in connection with an alleged human smuggling operation discovered during a suspicious vehicle call early Friday morning.

LAREDO, Tex.
(KGNS) - A suspicious vehicle call led Laredo police to what investigators say was an attempted human smuggling operation, resulting in the arrest of five people ranging in age from 17 to 21.
The incident happened just before 1 a.m. on Friday, July 3, at an apartment complex near Aurora St. and Haynes Ave., police said.
