Excessive rain locally and throughout the region has impacted facility and park operations across New Braunfels and Comal County.

As conditions improve, the city of New Braunfels said on social media around noon on Thursday that Cypress Bend Park, the Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs, Landa Park Aquatic Complex Olympic Pool and the City Recycle Center are now open.

Access for Comal River recreation, the spring-fed pool at the Landa Park Aquatic Complex and River Acres Park remained closed as of Thursday's post.
