A suspect attacked two men with a metal pipe in northwest Harris County, leaving one brain-dead and another critically injured.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Court records allege a series of attacks with a metal pipe in northwest Harris County has left one man brain-dead and another critically hurt.

ORIGINAL REPORT: Man involved in 2 separate attacks that critically injured victims in NW Harris County, HCSO says The documents say that first, a homeless man was attacked in front of a Dunkin' Donuts near State Highway 249 and West Road.

Court records name the attacker as 28-year-old Joshua McDaniel.
