A new legal team was announced on Monday, June 22, to represent Karmelo Anthony as he appeals his murder conviction.

Earlier this month the teen was sentenced to 35 years for the murder of Austin Metcalf at a track meet in Frisco.

Anthony's legal team includes Russell Wilson II, who is a Dallas trial and appellate attorney.
