MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Karl Boroski, one of three candidates running for the Midland ISD Board of Trustees District 5 seat, says his platform will focus on student food insecurity and mentorship programs.
Boroski, who has served as the executive director of the Midland-based non-profit Rope Youth for 15 years, filed his nomination last month.
He stated that addressing basic physical and social needs is a critical step prior to focusing on academic achievement."We do a lot of things that deal with fatherlessness, and our other initiative is food insecurity," Boroski said.
