The Boerne Champion volleyball team opened its 2026 season against two former district opponents and split their two matches earlier this week.

On Monday, Champion visited Kerrville Tivy and then on Tuesday, the Lady Chargers were at Pieper.

Champion's first home match won't be until Aug. 25, because of work being done on the floor.
