Daveigh Chase, a former child actress known for roles in "Lilo & Stich" and "The Ring," has died, according to a report.

Big picture view: Her boyfriend confirmed the news to TMZ saying that Chase died Tuesday from meningitis and an infection in her blood, which caused her to have septic issues and led to her body shutting down.

TMZ was also told that Chase had been admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles earlier this month because of malnutrition.
