NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3893 held a flag retirement ceremony Saturday to retire flags that could no longer fly.

The ceremony took place on Flag Day, when Americans pause to honor the flag.

Tammie Mosby, Auxiliary President for VFW Post 3893, said the American flag represents unity, patriotism and Americanism."It's our youth, it's our veterans. It's our elderly. To me, it wraps up everything," Mosby said.
