HOWE, Texas (KXII) - A man is facing several charges after Howe police say he pulled a gun from his waistband near a busy highway, fired a round, and fled into the woods before officers took him into custody.

Officers were called Friday to US 75 near the Abbington Meadow Apartments after a report of a man with a black sedan parked on the shoulder who appeared to draw a weapon from his waistband.
