ANDREWS COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - Andrews Veterinary Clinic is working with state and federal animal health officials following the confirmation of a New World Screwworm case in a dog seen at the clinic on June 6.

According to the clinic, U.S. Department of Agriculture testing confirmed the diagnosis.

The dog, whose owners are not from Andrews, may have recently traveled from Mexico.
